Main Activity Themes

We are committed to following five items as main areas of focus in our operations. In selecting this theme, we thought over the following ideas, "What should we do? How much can we contribute to society if we did it? How much negative effect may we have on stakeholders if we did it?" We are always conscious as a chemical manufacturer and responsible for society.

Enhancing compliance

It is said that there are hundreds of regulations related to chemical substances. We have ensured strict compliance with all relevant legislations. We must be responsible to comply with the laws and regulations, and even when no applicable laws and ordinances exist, we will practice self-restraint and carry out responsible management actions, including if there is suspicion of chemical misuse.

Stable supply of reliable products

By supplying reagents and electronics chemicals, our company has greatly contributed to the economic development and progress of science and technology in Singapore. We supply a large number of key products that are “the standard for diagnostics and measurement.” Because of this, we have responsibility to maintain a stable supply of reliable products.

To prevent environmental pollution due to chemical substances

We think that environmental pollution by chemicals and their wrongful use has an extremely large and negative impact on society. As a chemical company, we attach weight to the activity of preventing fire, leakage, theft, and loss of toxic substances as one of the first priority items of CSR, as well as, to secure the safety of local residents and our employees.

To prevent the misuse of chemical substances

We handle a lot of hazardous and toxic substances. Preventing the misuse of these substances is a natural responsibility of our company. In order to maintain peace and safety in Singapore and abroad, we will thoroughly prevent the theft and loss of chemical substances, and implement appropriate controls to prevent the sale or export of such substances to those who may misuse them.

Reduction environmental load

Entire departments in our company are committed to several activities in order to reduce loads on the environment, not to mention the energy conservation and the saving resources. Because it’s our duty as a global citizen that we work on environmental conservation, even if the degree of environmental load which our waste of energy causes might not be so bigger than the other corporate giant's one.
